Frequently Asked Questions
When Willard Conchin was writing the study books, the predominant version being used was the King James Version. When you need an exact match to the question you will want to refer to a King James Version.
I told Willard that many people were asking for an answer book and I asked if he ever considered writing one. He said the Bible was the answer book and if a student spends enough time with that book it will be the only answer book needed. In addition to this answer, the cost of printing answer books for each of the 67 books would be a daunting task.
No, we have not taken that step forward at this time.
Yes, you can order one for personal study as one lady from Louisiana did, (I believe she probably ordered every book and I know she went back and started reordering books she had ordered in years past.) Or you can order any number up to a couple thousand for a bible class study.
Willard and his wife Vonda taught school at all levels from high school, to college, to classes taught on the adult level. He also preached for various congregations where he was needed, a sort of tent maker like Paul. He was a member of the church of Christ but he did not write the books to represent any denominational doctrine. You will find that the studies come from God’s word, not from the doctrines of any man made institution.
Yes, we are aware. Willard worked on a typewriter first and later did some work on a computer. While he was an English teacher, and his wife Vonda, who proofed the books, was also an English teacher, some errors were made. When the present owner of the books purchased the books in 2008, there were no electronic copies of the books. So, we are retyping all the books. We are getting a cleaner copy of the text and will have digital copies in the future. Our typist and proofer try to be very careful but we do occasionally miss something. We are making corrections in future copies.
